Christine > March 12, 2009 This is the first time I used my new right angle view finder. I like to shoot on/from the ground and this allows me to get real low. I rested the camera on the rail and was able to kneel above it and look down at the viewfinder (no need to crane my neck). Nikon sells a version for about $189. I got this one from ebay for about $20. I figured it has no bearing on the quality of the photo like a lens would so I could buy a cheapie and still take good photos. A penny saved is a penny earned..... :)
